SL is Racist Rant/Emulator???

I swear, the fucking choices for last names you get is pathetic. If I was a minority coming into the game I'd be screwed into picking some white last name. Fucking sad. It's not hard to come up with last names. Instead of having so many bergs and burgs they should replace a couple of those with something else, so the games more accessible to other people of different backgrounds. I'm just saying this because I had a good friend who is Japanese that wants to join sl, but isn't given even 1 choice (and it should be more than 1 choice) of a last name that fits them. They got mad and emailed Linden, and got a nice email back saying they were S.O.L. I went and looked at the list and thought it was stupid. The people suggesting names should be shot. Most of them are ridiculous. One word - Trenchmouth. Whoever suggested that name should be blacklisted as a total moron. Half those names sound like disgusting bodily functions. How can you not help but pull out a SpaceMonkey pig shooter gun and grief some player with the last name Hoggard? Who in their right mind would even want that piece of shit last name?


SL is bullshit anyway, I mean with the Lindens doing nothing to people that rip others off like Jamie Bergman, those last names and letting morons put up impeach Bush signs all over amoungst other things. The best thing to come of SL is the emulator in the works. Yes, it was bound to happen though, just like with every massively multiplayer game. This of course is underground and out of my hands, but yes there's one out there running on something like 15 sims or so at the moment. I guess the guy behind is an ex-employee of a very popular gaming studio who originally developed the Havoc engine. Heard it's tight and 3d app friendly, ie - 3dsMax,Maya and the bunch. It's free to play too. If you want to set up a sim and have it added in you have to provide your own server, but as far as I heard, the team behind it hasn't implimented that option yet (rumors). As of right now it's up and running off their machines and in the testing phase. RC1 of the client is out there, if you know where to look.

Another Email

I emailed Jamie once again at the address on his Blog, the same one he gave out himself, and in fact posted on my blog, and this was the response:

Your little band of despondent communists succeeded in it's quell, my business has been stamped out. I am retreating, but not in defeat... I retreat to fight another day. Just because you umasked my alts indentity, doesn't mean I won't be back. You call what I did theft, still people all over the world have flea markets and garage sales, reselling other people's products openly. What about ebay and all the people re-selling X-Box 360's? Why aren't your terrorist regimes going after those people too? Why specifically target me? Ever think through that one asshole?

Space Monkey's freebie grenade it a direct sample from Valves Half Life 2 game. How is it okay for Fred to steal and sell Valve's property in SL, but when I took that illicit grenade and resold it, that action was considered evil to you people? Fred would be the merchant thief, not me. I've already sent out an information packet to Valve about all that's transpired, let's see if they can easily swallow it if they go to Linden about it.

No I do not have cybersex for lindens, and even if I did, all those screenshots you attached could easily be doctored in photoshop. I have a large following of loyal friends, do you really think any of them will believe you? For your information, most of the negative comments on my blog directed towards me, I posted myself as another social experiment. I was toying with you people. Trust me, no one hates me in SL, I live on forever!

If you release any leak on your blog about my indentity, I will take action. One word - TROY, and I'm not talking about the movie. Say cheerio to your pc's harddrive communist scum. That is my last promise to you.

I like that whole part about all the negative posts from us actually being written by him. Now he's stealing our words. As for Fred selling Valve's property (the Half-Life grenade) is justified by it's pricetag. You know - FREE! Lastly the people selling the X-Box's are reselling them. They already cost money to buy, they surely aren't a freebie you can just go pick up at your local Best Buy. Besides those are AUCTIONS. No one is being tricked here.
